WHEN ABORTION IS ALLOWED FOR A CHRISTIAN...


I don't know why we like to argue about almost everything in Christianity. Can't we just agree on some things at least for once?

I have heard this argument over and over -if abortion is ever allowed in Christianity. Some for and some against. Some say it's equal to murder when u intentionally terminate the life of a baby in the womb while some say there are times it's medically necessary - and all these points are backed up with both biblical verses and scientific proofs.

Nevertheless, for those who have known me and my spiritual convictions all these years. I have a shocker for you- my shocker for you is that this post has NOTHING to do with aborting a foetus or not. And am sincerely sorry for disappointing you. Maybe one of these days we will talk about it. But don't go away yet. Now that I have your attention...

Let's discuss something similar. Something that has to do with destiny, life and eternity if not dealt with. One of the arguments about abortion caught my attention. Its about a woman becoming pregnant with what medical experts term 'ectopic pregnancy'.

Ectopic pregnancy is a situation in which the fetus(baby in the womb) develops elsewhere outside the uterus especially in the Fallopian tube. Good news turn to bad news?

At this point, most medical experts believe the safest thing to do is to terminate the pregnancy. Reason is that it's most likely to take the pregnant woman's life. God forbid. It will never be the portion of any of our mothers, wives, daughters - and any woman at all. Did I hear a big Amen.

But my problem is that many of us reading this post right now are pregnant with Ectopic pregnancy. 😜

You are in if you have allowed your heart to be entangled with a relationship that has no future. A relationship that by God's standard is forbidden. I mean pregnancy is good. People rejoice when a married woman gets pregnant. Especially when she has waited for a long time. It's even a testimony even before delivery. But wait o... The Doctor will ask you - Of what use is the pregnancy when it has come to take your life?

I took time recently in a youth conference in my city to educate our young people on what I call 'relationship no-go areas'. Young man, you can't be 'dating' your cousin/nephew/niece etc or someone with whom you are related by blood and you say you are in a relationship! Mbanu. You are in a 'relation-canoe' not relation-ship. You won't go far. Stop deceiving yourself. Everything is not about emotions alone. There is something called 'reasoning'. Be reasonable for once.

You know there is no future in that relationship because of biblical principles, biological reasons and eternal values yet your hearts are drawing closer and closer? Ectopic! Something is growing where it should not grow. It's dangerous. Simple.

Madam, you are married and you are still telling me that 'you have feelings for another man'. Sharrap there!  Enter the theatre let's cut it off for life. You need an urgent surgery. Except you don't like your future.

Oga, that 'thing' you are developing in your heart for another woman outside your wife is DANGEROUS. D for dangerous. I mean it. The shame/disgrace/heartbreak that will come with it is not worth it. You better terminate it now as you are reading this post.

Maybe this post came as a direct message to someone. I learnt the abortion is better done early as it develops. Don't wait till the 'baby gets big'. The bigger the fetus, the bigger the problem.

Some surgeries should be done with a sense of urgency. And I speak as a Spiritual Doctor - you need to cut off that stupid, satanic, incestuous, devilish, distracting, deceptive and ungodly relationship NOW!

So we can proceed to the theatre right away. It's simple. Not as difficult as Satan paints it. Look for somewhere quiet to pray Now. Ask God for forgiveness for the length you have already gone. Call that person and tell him it's over. Stop seeing him/her from now onwards. Cut off every form of dirty communications. Ask Jesus to come into your heart. Join a strong fellowship of God's people.

N/B: Meet a genuine counsellor for further check up. It's a serious issue. You can't continue this way!
