When not to pray

Am not saying prayer is not good ,as a matter of fact the Bible say that we should pray without season , but there are circumstances where we don't need to actually stand to pray but ACT, in such circumstances prayer must be done in the heart and yet focusing on what is going on physically , take for instance some examples.

I saw this video lately where a house was burning close to the church , only for the members to come out and start praying, "God won't do for us what we should do for ourselves", if each one of them there should throw bucket of water to the fire, the fire might go off before even the firefighters arrive

I can't help but say this as my second point,
I have witness a woman in labor, after some exercise she made the water bag busted and blood start gushing out , the husband was told to go bring the baby bag at the forth floor ,so the woman can be taking to the hospital for delivery ,while the woman is downstairs with a friend waiting for the husband to come with the bag, he took longer that expected, if am not exaggerating ,he took up to 40mins , when he finally came , he was ask what took him so long knowing that his wife was in pain? Guess what the answer was "HE WAS PRAYING". A prayer you could be doing in your heart while taking the bag and taking the woman to the hospital, I nodded my head , what if the delivered the baby on the bear floor?, what if the loose much blood in the process , what if the baby died in her womb but glory to God the baby was born healthy

3rdly When an unbeliever come to you for food, as a Christian that you are you pray for him or her and let him or her go empty handed , then another unbeliever found the person and ask what was wrong , after hearing his story , the unbeliever took him to bar parlor, gave him good food and drink ,the hunger got satisfied by another unbeliever. Now when you the Christian invite the hungered one to the church or even preach to him , will he listen to you? Have you now won a soul for the devil or hindered this one from knowing Christ? ,Jesus Christ didn't sent the 5000 away knowing they were hungry, He feed them first .
Christians Christians Christians, we are the Bible the unbelievers are reading before they come to Christ .Now ask yourself what kind of ambassador are you???

Lastly, I see Christians who prays for blessing and prosperity but are not working , they can spend 24 hours praying but don't want to work because they awaiting the miracles of God , they even sold there belongings , sow in the church , go back home and relax, waiting for the angel to deliver the sack of wealth , my brethren let wake up
Deu 28:12.The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to BLESS ALL THE WORK  OF THINE HAND: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow. 
Where is the work in your hand that God want to bless??
Pro 10:4 Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth.
Note :.that prayers is needed in all cases but actions also shouldn't be neglected .

I pray that the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what is the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.
